Hi, I'm Nadine.
I'm into holistic health and wellness (like really into it!) and empowering people to be their best through one-on-one, in-person wellness sessions. With a focus on emotional wellbeing, stress management, self-growth, life-path and spirituality, I empower you to be calm, clear and connected. This can make daily life feel smoother, more peaceful and balanced. This can also make your life journey easier to navigate and your physical self more energised and healthy.
With more than 10 years' clinical practice experience, I've supported hundreds of people over thousands of sessions to return to inner calm and inner knowing. Clients consistently say that I'm a warm, gentle and compassionate practitioner and that they feel safe in our sessions. With my help, they report great changes in their life and overall wellbeing.
One of my strengths is my ability to ‘hold space'. This means I’m physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually present. This also means I create a space that’s safe and non-judgemental. You’re free to be you. To share, express and be vulnerable.
By nature I’m grounded, intelligent and highly intuitive. I weave these personal qualities through our sessions. I also have a regular routine of yoga, self-care and receive a range of regular healing sessions. I know that by supporting me, I’m better able to support you!
I bring to our sessions not only the proper training and skills (see below for the low down on all my pieces of paper(s)!), but a wealth of clinical practice and life experience.
This is my second career and I understand the challenges of balancing a demanding job with life and self-care. I did a lot of travel in my 20's, backpacking around the world and have lived in China, teaching English, and in Scotland, selling crystals in new-age shop. I also spent six months travelling India exploring Indian culture, spirituality and growth.
When I’m not in clinic, you’ll find me studying Acupuncture, on a nature walk or out and about with with my beloved camera.

The space.
I provide one-on-one, in-person sessions from my lovely clinic in the heart of Brunswick. Stained glass windows, high ceilings and an abundance of good vibes await you! You may be surprised by how protected clinic is from the hustle and bustle of Brunswick. The clinic room itself is fully insulated, providing an even stronger buffer from outside noise and disturbances.
I set this beauty of a space up from scratch in 2021. Practicing from other people’s clinics over the years gave me a really good idea of what would/would not work for my own space.
The covid pandemic, surprisingly, presented the perfect opportunity to birth my long-held dream into reality. Taking on a commercial lease, permit wrangling and doing a shop fit out during Melbourne’s long lockdowns was super challenging but oh so growthful. I had some fabulous tradies on board and am beyond pleased with the result!
Previously, I've practiced from some pretty special multi-disciplinary clinics at Clay Carlton North, Thornbury Acupuncture Studio and Inside This River Northcote. I opened my first clinic from my then home in Brunswick in 2012 ... and now I appear to have come full circle back to Brunswick. Don't you just love it how life turns out?!?!

My story.
People often ask how I got here. Surprisingly, I never intended to be a practitioner! I stumbled across Kinesiology quite by accident when I was looking for a career change and was lucky enough to learn Sound Healing and flower essences within Kinesiology. I'd never even had a Kinesiology session when I was intuitively guided to attend a college open day. In those few hours something clicked. Within two days I’d signed up to study! Even once I qualified, I didn’t necessary want to practice but felt called to at least give it shot. Turns out I really liked it!
When I made the career change, many who know me well thought it was a natural fit. It’s so suited to my personality and perfectly aligned to my interests, values and world-view.

I have a background in Science, specifically Epidemiology. In my early 30's I'd landed my dream job as a Research Fellow, but was feeling 'meh' and unconvinced I was on the right path.
It was while doing hospital-based research that the seed of change was deeply planted. I remember it clearly, I was on the wards and noticed a patient with a Physiotherapist. She walked two or three steps. There were cheers and claps all round. She had a beaming smile. Clearly those few steps marked a massive milestone in her recovery.
At that moment I knew I wanted to contribute to health in a more hands-on way than research. I had no idea how, but the Universe helped me out there! Some time later I started seeing this thing called Kinesiology seemingly everywhere. A little bit of web searching led me to the Australian College of Complementary Medicine’s website … and the rest, as they say, is history!
Never one to stop learning, and again following my intuition, in 2018 I returned to study Acupuncture. I’ve had a long connection to Chinese Medicine, first as an English teacher at a University of Chinese Medicine in China in 2000, then through my Kinesiology studies and lots of really helpful Acupuncture treatments along the way.
My journey to Acupuncturist is moving at tortoise pace as I’m studying alongside clinic. However, I’m super excited to eventually incorporate Acupuncture into my existing sessions (where appropriate) and to offer it as a stand-alone modality.
