Hi, I'm Nadine (she/her).
Kinesiologist, Acupuncturist & Holistic Wellness Practitioner
|
I'm deeply passionate about holistic health and supporting people to feel more like themselves again. My work spans the emotional, physical and spiritual aspects of wellbeing, with a focus on supporting stress, fatigue, emotional wellbeing, self-growth and digestive and reproductive health. I'm particularly interested in the mind-body connection and how this is mediated by the nervous system. Often, what we're experiencing physically can be linked to stress, overwhelm or unprocessed emotions. Nervous system regulation is the cornerstone of my approach. |
My work is about helping you feel more calm, clear and connected, within yourself and in the world around you. When these pieces fall into place, life tends to feel a little easier. More grounded. More aligned. And often, physical symptoms begin to shift from this place too.
With over 13 years in clinical practice, I've supported hundreds of people across thousands of sessions. Clients often tell me they feel safe, seen and supported in our work together. And that this creates meaningful changes that ripple out into their lives.
A big part of what I offer is the ability to hold space. I bring a grounded, present and intuitive approach, creating a space that's calm, non-judgemental and genuinely supportive. You're free to be yourself and show up exactly as you are.
Alongside my kinesiology and energetic work, I'm also an AHPRA registered Acupuncturist. This allows me to offer care that is both deeply supportive on an emotional level and grounded in an evidence-informed, thousands year old practice.
I bring not only formal qualifications, but a wealth of real-life experience. This is my second career and I understand the challenges of balancing a demanding job with life and self-care. My path has also included lots of travel, backpacking around Asia and Europe and living abroad twice, teaching English in China and selling crystals in a new-age shop in Scotland.
I value walking the talk and regularly support my own wellbeing through movement and meditation, treatments, a balanced 'food as medicine' approach to diet and adequate rest.
When I’m not in clinic, you’ll find me on a nature walk, enjoying a cuppa with friends or out and about with with my beloved camera.

The space.
Based in an Edwardian-era shopfront in the heart of Brunswick, my clinic has just one treatment room. This means I only see one client at a time (i.e., YOU) and you won't be disturbed by other practitioners or clients.
The treatment room itself is insulated, creating a quiet, grounded sanctuary for your session.
With stained glass windows and an abundance of greenery, the space feels calm, welcoming and surprisingly tucked away from the bustle of central Brunswick.
I created this space in 2021, drawing on years of experience and a clear sense of what truly supports both practitioner and client. The covid pandemic, surprisingly, presented the perfect opportunity to birth my long-held dream into reality. Taking on a commercial lease, permit wrangling and doing a shop fit out during Melbourne’s long lockdowns was super challenging but oh so growth-ful. With the help of some fabulous tradies, it's now a space I'm incredibly proud of.

We are spiritual beings having a human experience.”

my story
People often ask how I found my way here. Surprisingly, I never set out to become a holistic health practitioner! It started with kinesiology, something I stumbled across quite by accident when I was looking for a career change. I'd never even had a session when I was intuitively guided to attend an open day. In those few hours something clicked and, within just a few days, had signed up to study! Even once I qualified, I wasn't sure I'd practice ... but felt a strong pull to try. Turns out I really liked it!
Never one to stop learning, and again following my intuition, in 2018 I returned to study acupuncture. I’ve had a long connection to Chinese medicine, first as an English teacher at a University of Chinese Medicine in China in 2000, then through my kinesiology studies and personal benefit from acupuncture treatments along the way.
When I made the career change, many who know me well thought it was a natural fit. It’s so suited to my personality and perfectly aligned to my interests, values and world-view.

I have a background in health science and epidemiology. In my early 30's I'd landed my dream job as a Research Fellow, but was feeling 'meh' and unconvinced I was on the right path.
It was while doing hospital-based research that the seed of change was deeply planted. I remember it clearly, I was on the wards and noticed a patient with a Physiotherapist. She walked two or three steps. There were cheers and claps all round. She had a beaming smile. Clearly those few steps marked a massive milestone in her recovery.
At that moment I knew I wanted to contribute to health in a more hands-on way than research. I had no idea how, but the Universe helped me out there!
I soon started seeing this thing called kinesiology seemingly everywhere. A little bit of web searching led me to the Australian College of Complementary Medicine’s website, where I discovered training in kinesiology, sound therapy and flower essences. That pivotal moment opened the door to healing and more clarity on my purpose. It also sparked a desire to formally learn more about and qualify in Chinese medicine.

Choosing the right practitioner and clinic environment matters. It's not just about trying a modality because someone else had success with it. That's only part of the picture.
