My approach is one of warmth, compassion and sensitivity. I’m a grounded practitioner and communicate in a way that makes sense to you. I work both pragmatically and intuitively to provide you with a unique healing experience.
I don’t believe in ‘band-aid’ solutions or ‘quick fixes’. Instead, my focus is on helping you understand the causes of issues and providing you with the tools to resolve them. I understand the demands of our modern lifestyle and work with you to find solutions that are relevant and achievable in your everyday life.
I practice holistically and facilitate your connection to your inner wisdom and your body’s innate healing capacity. I maintain ongoing professional development to ensure my skills are kept up-to-date and you get the best possible care.
Nadine’s journey to holistic health
I love what I do. A great day for me is seeing your life transformed!
My passion for holistic and complementary therapies developed long before being a holistic wellness practitioner. I’ve had a longstanding interest in Eastern and esoteric philosophy and self-development. When I decided to make a career change into the complementary medicine field, many who knew me well thought it a natural fit.
I come from a science and public health research background and have worked for more than ten years in the University and hospital environments. Seeking a change and driven by a desire to contribute to health in a more hands on way, in my early 30’s I returned to study to learn kinesiology. People often ask “why kinesiology?” I think it’s accurate to say that I didn’t choose kinesiology – it chose me! Within just two days of attending a kinesiology training open day, I signed up to study. All this without ever having had experienced a kinesiology balance! It simply felt like the right thing to do.
Right from the start, flower essences and sound healing were, and continue to be, key components of my kinesiology treatments. It was a natural progression for these to evolve into the stand alone sessions that you know and love today. My experience with these modalities has been life changing to say the least. I’m more comfortable and confident in who I am and have increased self-awareness. I see my thought patterns and ingrained habits more easily and am motivated to change them. I feel calm, clear and inspired!
I believe a good practitioner cares for themselves as much as they care for their clients. Congruence is key. To that end, I maintain a daily routine of yoga and meditation and focus on healthy food, stress management and adequate rest. I have regular kinesiology/energy healing sessions and participate in self-development workshops and courses.
When I’m not in clinic, you’ll find me following my other passions – photography, travelling the world or sharing a pot of tea with friends.
I look forward to seeing you soon!
