Nadine’s approach to your health and wellbeing
Resilience building and stress management are a significant part of my work with you. In my sessions, I facilitate your connection to your inner wisdom. Good health and happiness results when we live from a place of inner truth.
My sessions also help to activate your body’s innate healing capacity. The body knows how to heal and is constantly working to keep us in a state of balance and good health; my role is simply to provide some assistance.
Holistic health I practice holistically and consider our mental, emotional, physical and spiritual aspects as interconnected. You’ve likely experienced this interconnection in your daily life, e.g. stress can lower immunity increasing the risk of colds and flus. Similarly, feeling nervous before an exam can increase heart rate and perspiration.
Balance Balance is the heart of my approach to your health and wellbeing. When balanced, we feel physically fit and healthy, emotionally calm and stable. Our concentration is strong and we are resilient to the challenges of life.
Energy model of health My holistic wellness treatments are based on an energy model of health. Like Traditional Chinese Medicine, I understand the human system in terms of energy (called ‘Qi’; pronounced ‘Chi’) and energetic pathways (called ‘meridians’). Qi powers the body and is necessary for growth, physiological functioning, emotional stability and overall good health. Qi flows through the body in the meridians.
Your path to good health
We live in fast paced world and it can sometimes feel impossible to do all the things we ‘should’ for our health and wellbeing. Factors like stress, poor nutrition lack of sleep or lack of exercise (among other things) can tip your body out of balance. This can leave you feeling emotionally unsettled, physically ‘blah’ and disconnected. Left unchecked this can spiral into chronic conditions and serious health issues.
My holistic wellness treatments address the causes of imbalance, dis-harmony and ill health. Working with a thorough understanding of modern anatomy and physiology and within a framework of holistic and energy healing, my sessions re-balance, re-set and energise. The result? A happier, healthier you.
